Terms of Sale
These terms apply to goods bought through dmec.ie. They do not apply to clinical services provided by Drogheda Medical Eye Clinic, which are governed separately.
Who you are contracting with:Goods bought on this website are sold and fulfilled by ANPM LTD on behalf of DMEC LTD, trading as Drogheda Medical Eye Clinic, Unit 7 Southgate Shopping Centre, Drogheda, Co. Louth, A92 RK27. Contact orders@dmec.ie.
Products: We sell food supplements and ocular lubricants. These are not prescription medicines. Nothing on this website is medical advice and buying a product is not a substitute for an eye examination or consultation. If you have symptoms, please book an appointment.
Prices and payment: Prices are in euro and include VAT where applicable. Delivery charges are shown separately at checkout. Payment is taken when you place your order. We may change prices at any time, but a change will not affect an order already placed.
Subscription plans: A subscription plan is a recurring contract. When you subscribe you agree to pay the plan price at the stated interval until you cancel. For each plan we state the price per billing period, how often it renews, and what each shipment contains, on the product page before you order. Payment is taken on the day you subscribe and then automatically at the start of each subsequent billing period. Plans renew until cancelled and there is no minimum term. You may cancel at any time from your account and cancellation takes effect from the next billing date. An order already billed will still be dispatched. If we change the price or contents of a plan we will email you in advance and you may cancel before the change takes effect.
Right to cancel: You have 14 days from receipt of goods to cancel an online order, subject to the exemption for sealed health and hygiene goods once opened. Full details are on our Returns and Cancellations page, which forms part of these terms.
Delivery: Delivery charges, areas and timescales are set out on our Delivery page, which forms part of these terms.
Availability: If an item is unavailable after you order we will contact you and refund in full. We may limit quantities where a product has a shelf-life constraint.
Liability: Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for any liability that cannot be limited by law. Your statutory rights as a consumer are not affected.
Complaints and disputes: Email orders@dmec.ie. If we cannot resolve a complaint you may contact the Competition and Consumer Protection Commission or use the European Commission online dispute resolution platform.
Governing law: These terms are governed by the law of Ireland and subject to the jurisdiction of the Irish courts.
